Welcome to my website. My name is Jaco.
I am a psychiatrist living and working in Manchester, UK. I became disabled in 2016 after getting sepsis. I write about my personal experiences to raise awareness.
I regularly talk about my lived experience. I appeared on BBC Breakfast, BBC Northwest, Matron, Medicine and Me and the Victoria Derbyshire programme. I talked at various sepsis conferences around the UK. I am an ambassador for The Scar Free Foundation and a volunteer for The UK Sepsis Trust.
I can, unfortunately, not provide any medical advice.
